Description:The Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs Foundation makes Manufacturing Camp Grants to trade schools and community or technical colleges to host summer camp programs for girls and boys aged 12 through 16. Summer camps are a successful way of introducing middle and high school students to the high-tech career choices available to them in today’s automated manufacturing industry.

Eligible applicants are public and private schools that currently offer a manufacturing curricula certificate or degree program (any industrial technology program that prepares students for careers in a manufacturing environment) and currently offer or be capable of offering courses relevant to business entrepreneurship. Applications must be submitted using the online system.
Eligibility:Public, Private, Other (including homeschool, 501 (c)(3) organizations)
Award(s):First-year grants of $2,500; second-year grants of $1,500; and third-year grants of $1,000 are awarded.
Deadline(s):Applications are accepted July 1 through December 1, 2018.
