Description:The Air Force Association seeks to affect student learning by funding grants to meet the unmet and unfunded educational needs of students. The Educator Grant program promotes aerospace education activities in kindergarten through grade 12 classrooms. The program encourages development of innovative aerospace activities within the prescribed curriculum. Funding may be used to purchase classroom science supplies and demonstration kits, science and technology software, science manipulatives, supplies for making flying objects, supplies for a robotics program, and more.

Grants must benefit at least 15 students. A committee comprised of outside experts in the field of aerospace education will review all qualified grant applications and make recommendations on funding. Based upon the funding available, the association will choose to invest in projects that best serve the nationís students and support the mission of the Air Force Association.
