Description:The Grable Foundation is focused on improving the lives of children in southwestern Pennsylvania. The foundation awards grants in the following focus areas: early childhood, public schools, out-of-school time, families, and community.

The foundation supports rich early childhood learning opportunities in high-quality settings, led by caring and well-trained adults, as well as support for parents to encourage their children’s development. In the area of prekindergarten through grade 12 education, the foundation seeks programs that ignite students’ interests, stretch their abilities, and set the path toward a successful future. The foundation supports out-of-school opportunities to stretch young bodies and eager minds in a fun and safe environment, such as after-school, summer, and mentoring programs.
