Description:The Kids in Need Foundation awards grants to grades prekindergarten through grade 12 teachers to provide innovative learning opportunities for their students. The purpose of grants is to provide funds for classroom teachers who have innovative, meritorious ideas. Projects that make creative use of common teaching aids, approach the curriculum from an imaginative angle, or tie nontraditional concepts together for the purpose of illustrating commonalities may qualify for funding.

Teachers may apply for an Elmer’s Teacher Tool Kit Grant, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores Grant, Dollar General Reading Scholars Teacher Grant, ArtSkills Teacher Grant, Writing Instrument Manufacturing Association Creative Writing Teacher Grant, Helping Humanity Fund Navajo Pottery Project, or VIA Credit Union Teacher Grant.
