Description:The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation funds projects and programs that directly impact the lives of people with paralysis, from birth through the elderly, as well as their families and caregivers. Programs may also support individuals with other types of disabilities, as well as inclusive community projects. Quality of Life Grants give priority to new or expanded initiatives and to projects that serve diverse communities; medically underserved areas; and military members, veterans, and their families.

Previous grants were used to fund education and job training; arts programs; therapeutic service animals; camp programs; organized sporting opportunities; and programs and projects that enhance community engagement, independence, and inclusion for people with paralysis.

Eligible applicants are school districts, nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, municipal and state governments, recognized tribal entities, and community and veterans’ hospitals. Interested applicants must first submit a Letter of Inquiry; selected applicants are then invited to submit a full proposal.
