Description:Through its grants, State Farm helps to build safer, stronger, and better-educated communities across the United States and Canada. Grants focus on two areas: safety and education.

Education grants provide access to personal financial education and job training. Funding is directed towards basic economics, budget counseling, employable skills training, first time homebuyers workshop, and foreclosure prevention counseling. Additionally, State Farm supports efforts to provide all children with an education. Three types of grants are awarded to kindergarten through grade 12 public schools: teacher development, service-learning, and education reform/systemic improvement.

Eligible applicants include educational institutions, government entities, charitable nonprofit organizations, volunteer fire companies, and chambers of commerce. The online grant application becomes available on the website during the grant application cycle.
